Charge Foundation Initiatives

Charge Foundation has many key initiatives. There are SO MANY opportunities to work on!

Residential Building code
Work with City Governments to require 240V in garages. There are 100,000+ Cities in US. Each City has its own building code.

Work with Builders
Work with builders directly to add 240V in garages. This is a parallel effort to the work we do with Cities.

High School Clubs
Be a founder of a club, open a Charge Foundation chapter. The initial charter is to add chargers and provide free charging to faculty and staff at your High School and eventually expand to all schools in the school district. Work on switching to Electric School Buses.

Non-Residential Building code
For commercial, industrial, retail, apartments, etc, require conduit to be laid before paving parking lots. Conduit is an empty pipe, which can be later used to pull electric wire, converting the park spots to electric. This will future proof all construction.

HOAs
Work with HOAs to add chargers at HOA managed parks.

Parks and Libraries
Work with Cities to add chargers at parks and libraries.

New Retail Construction
Work with retailers building out new locations, asking them to lay conduit before they pave parking. Also have adequate chargers, which will drive traffic.

Present at TEDx
Talk about your accomplishments at TEDx!

Electric Campus
Make college and University campuses electric! First, provide free charging to faculty and staff. Later, expand to all students.

Retailers
Work with retailers to add free charging. Retailers get high quality foot traffic, its a win-win.

Restaurant Chains
Work with restaurant chains to add free charging. Retailers get high quality foot traffic, its a win-win.

Shareholder Resolutions
Work with publicly listed companies. Propose shareholder resolution requesting to allow employees fully remote work or provide free charging.
